Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern’s nailed feminine chic in their Los Angeles-based womenswear brand, Co. Founded in 2011, Co prides itself on utilizing fine fabrics and creating unique silhouettes while exhibiting a distinct sophistication. Co’s creative aim is polished, feminine chic.

Co’s Fall 2014 collection consists of majority reds, pinks, blacks, and grays. The sleek designs coincide with the carefully chosen fabrics, whose quality can be spotted a mile away. Fall 2014 features a fluid red flower in a few pieces that are must-haves: the wide-legged rose-decorated pants, in particular. Juxtaposing the red floral, Co implemented a floral-cut sleeve for some of its tops.   Extending beyond this, distinct, geometric shoulder detailing makes the jackets and tops necessary items in a woman’s closet.

Resort 2015 greatly differs Fall 2014, yet maintains Co’s feminine aesthetic. The featured pieces are constructed by various furs and greatly tailored fabrics. Resort 2015 stems past black and red, into blues and whites. The white, loose-fit collard mini dress is a definite must for every female!

Danan and Kern also put their creative abilities to use and provide the consumer with a few short films. Again, the films are a reflection of their design philosophy of luxury and representative of their classic style. “She Said, She Said,” the most recently released film, debuted in spring 2013 features a lesbian couple experiencing the power struggle of possessions. More films are to be anticipated in the future for the company.
