Aussie designer Caroline Fuss celebrated her NYFW debut this week at the Highline Loft, presenting bright, feminine fashion made possible by the techniques and handiwork of global artisans. Inspired by icon expressionists like Rothko and Frankenthaler, Fuss’ collection was created in the deep jewel tones of yellow, blue, and red. Silk, airbrushed leather, alpaca wool and embroidered textiles provided beautiful texture. Nu-Mode´ got an exclusive look at Harare’s debut collection as well as an interview with the rising designer about her techniques and inspirations - look out for more in our next issue!
