Steven Cox and Dan Silver, the design duo behind menswear line Duckie Brown, played with androgyny this season by presenting a streamlined Spring/Summer collection of pants, coats, and skirts. Halter necks and dress-like garments delivered feminine elements to crisp, tailored looks. The collection was compromised of black, white, navy, tan, with a black-and-white faded stripe pattern. Models walked to Leikeli47’s “Miss America,” the heavy bass and “walk like a girl, dress like a boy” lyrics perfectly matching the unique design aesthetic.

Structured tops were embellished with sharp collars and exaggerated shoulders. Clean, light jackets appeared as high-fashion reincarnations of lab coats, nicely contrasting relaxed hoodies with exposed zippers and side panels on the waist. Little details such as slit-like cutouts above flapped breast pockets provided an element of surprise to classic shapes, while interesting textures and fabrics lent edginess to simple tailoring. Overall a loose-fitting, sharp collection of garments that combined street-ready edge with expert design.
