Daniella Kallmeyer’s F/W presentation consisted of strong, polished looks in predominantly subdued palette of black and ivory with a few statement pieces in red. An image of Katherine Hepburn came to mind while looking at the clothes: a strong woman gracefully lounging on a chair looking into eternity. One of the main accents of the collection was a Celtic braid motif that was either printed on silk or embossed on leather.

Another interesting fact is that her entire collection is made in New York. The designer stresses out the importance of supporting NY Garment Center and promoting “Made in NYC” label. I can only wonder how she manages to produce her luxury-minded collection at a contemporary price point, but she’s definitely got my vote.
