Chiffon shirts, lace dresses, tweed pants and mink coats swarmed the runway. More than a few pieces mixed textures, such as the black crepe dress with chiffon sleeves and leather lacing detail, or even more extreme with the transparent black coat with plum leather details and silver fox hood. The line stayed true to a black, white, and navy color selection for the majority, but added some spice with the various plum accents. Furthering its upbeat attitude, the finale song election was Beyonce’s “7/11.” I was particularly partial to the jackets and coats in this collection. The tuxedo coats were well tailored and the minks fell on the body beautifully.

Special thank you to Blackglama and Swarovski for their continuous support and the amazing team at Pier 59 Studios.
Georgine never disappoints. Sheer quality scream from the silks and furs in the collection. Unlike most collections, Georgine incorporated all colors of the rainbow, in a tasteful, chic manner. Dresses and furs and jumpers of every color on the spectrum caught the eye of those watching. Such cohesion and great cut were definite pluses to the FW ’15 display. The movement of the furs makes them a necessity in any closet. Kudos to Georgine for styling as well the models that looked very well uniformed.
