From its conception in 2008, Bespoken has ventured into a new territory for the Savile Row trained craftsmen – combining modernity with tradition. And so far this venture has been a success. For F/W 2014 Bespoken produced another stellar collection with plenty of dress up options and clever relaxed fit alternatives that could easily be mixed and matched. From leather and quilted jackets, parkas and sweaters, to tailored suits, they covered all the basics and then some, proving yet again there is plenty to be said in menswear. Burgundy was the color du jour and came in the shape of sweaters, leather jackets and suits. They even tried their hand at unisex dressing – with great aplomb I might add – leaving me wondering if it’s something to be expected from them in the future.
