Globally established Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch debuted his latest for Made Fashion Week at Milk Studios, shining through his aesthetic of classic glamour with a twist. Garments appeared in satiny white, rich metallic purple, and sleek black, along with pinstripes and an animal-inspired print that fell somewhere between zebra and tiger. Slivers of skin appeared between crop tops and pencil skirts, along with super-short hemlines to balance out demure collared blouses and floor-sweeping numbers.

Ruffles, pleats, and exposed zippers were found throughout, along with shallow v-necks and horizontal piping. Several looks featured coats draped behind models’ backs in a cape-like fashion, adding dramatic flair to simplistic shapes. A completely sheer, all-lace dress showed off one model’s entire body, soliciting raised eyebrows and smiles from the audience. Intense violins roared throughout the runway presentation, perfectly matching the sophisticated elegance Herchcovitch has made himself known for.
